There are two drop off or pick up locations Waitonga Falls is the lower track heading east via Rangipo and the upper track to Whakapapa Village.   Please be aware when booking that due to the extra time and distance an additional surcharge will be required to the upper Mangaturuturu track to or from Whakapapa Village.

Prices quoted are from Waihohunu Trail end to Whakapapa Village or Waimarino (formerly known as National Park Village)

Minimum price does not apply if other parties are booked at the same time on the shuttle.   i.e if we have the minimum number on a shuttle we will override the price manually to ensure you are charged at the per person rate. Its rare but sometimes happens!

About our Service

*We are unable to carry infants under 3 or any child unable to be seated with provided seat restraint.  

*Minimum number of 4 passengers is required ( to run at service cost, please call in advance to check. ***In the event of additional passengers on the same time we will refund you the shared cost of the shuttle to a minimum of single person fare.

*Cancellation fees apply to all cancelled bookings when pre paid. 

*Free transfer of booking to another day should weather affect your reservation.

On demand Transfer service to Tukino access road intersection of Round the mountain Track.

If you wish to be picked up from another location other than Whakapapa Village please contact us for the appropriate pricing of the journey.

Our 4wds enable access to the Around the Mountain Track intersection at the gate to the Tukino Ski Area which is approximatly 4 kms from the 2wd car park.   
If we are requested to use our larger 2wd Toyota Coaster or subject to any other road conditions we reserve the right to drop/pick up passengers from the side of SH1 rather than risk being bogged in on the access road to the 2wd car park area.

The distance from State Highway 1 to the Track intersection is 9kms.

Single trip transfer between Ohakune Mountain Road Trailheads to Waihohunu Hut.

Please call before booking as pricing may change due to fuel pricing and other factors outside our control especially when booking more than one month in advance.   Our current pricing assumes a Diesel fuel price staying locally below $4 per litre. Other factors may influence price such as avialability of vehicles.
